How can people vote for Trump?

To the editor: How could anyone vote for Donald Trump when they know what he said about our military veterans? In 2017 at Arlington National Cemetery, he claimed John McCain was not a hero, he was a loser for getting shot down and captured. In 2018, he was in France for the anniversary of the end of World War I. He would not visit the American cemetery because it was “filled with suckers” who got killed. To the editor: I’m writing to address the piece by Richard Nolan that was published in the Herald-Star last Sunday. The EPA carries out laws passed by elected officials. There has long been a cynical effort by greedy polluters to blame the EPA for laws enacted through the normal legislative process. Voters are becoming more informed about climate change. To the editor: A letter published a few weeks ago disparaged Donald Trump. The first section of the letter talked about “Trump’s Bible.” (“Trump’s behavior not Christian-like,” April 6.) The writer called this Bible “his Bible.” She does not have the facts about the God Bless the USA Bible, which is the Bible that Trump was endorsing at his rallies. To the editor: For those who haven’t had the opportunity to meet Michael Kripchak yet, I’d like to share my thoughts on why he’d make an excellent U.S. Congressman for the 6th District.
