To the editor: Will the Jefferson County Democrats or local chapter of National Organization of Women define what a woman is? Reasonable-thinking Americans are confused. Does NOW welcome men pretending to be women who were born without two XX chromosomes, a uterus, ovaries, mammary glands and never will have a menstrual cycle, but have a prostate, testicles and XY chromosomes? What’s NOW’s stance on males participating in female sports? NOW is just pro-abortion, not pro-women, because better than 50 percent of babies murdered in the womb are female. Gopies to be disappointed

To the editor: Each new poll regarding a 2024 race between Trump and Biden projects a Trump win. The GOP therefore has reason to rejoice. Biden’s popularity is near an all-time low. Trump appears to be on a comeback trail despite multiple complaints and lawsuits cast against him by his raucous opponents. But Trump has never relented his stance nor has he ever placated his opponents. In all instances he’s emerged victorious. If anyone can be dubbed as a tough man, that man is Trump. To the editor: It’s time to get down to brass tacks, to speak out when you see something happening that you know not only in your gut, but your heart, is not right. To the editor: It has been announced that Tucker Carlson, the demagogic host of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” which had been the top-rated program on all of cable television, has been systemically discharged by Fox Chief Executive Lachlan Murdock, with the approval of his father, the founder and potentate of Fox News, Rupert Murdock, devoid of any explanation, leading one to speculate as to the rationale as to why and how the decision was made. We’re in the ‘Twilight Zone’

To the editor: One of my favorite television programs during my childhood was “The Twilight Zone.” The show began with ordinary persons in an unusual circumstance. Rod Serling would then introduce us to the characters and explain their situation and tell us that they were in the Twilight Zone. I believe our country entered the Twilight Zone on Jan. 20, 2021.
