Good Neighbors  say thanks

To the editor:

The Wintersville Good Neighbors would like to thank the Wintersville United Methodist Church Youth Group, Cross Creek Elementary School and the Jefferson County Christian School for all their help with our Christmas project.

Tiffany Manley and her youth group help set up the project and spent many days wrapping gifts. Cross Creek Elementary, under the direction of Principal Dan Hartman along with Guidance Counselor Brittany Shank and Student Senate adviser for the fourth grade, Gina Miclea, collected canned goods and pennies and assisted with sorting all of the canned goods. The students from the Jefferson County Christian School, under the direction of Principal Lorrie Jarrett, Guidance Counselor Susan Potvin and teacher Janet Johnson brought the students to the church to do a big variety of jobs to help us get ready for distribution.

Without all of this help, it would not have been possible to assist 63 families and 151 children with Christmas this year. We are so thankful that these students give back to their community by volunteering for our organization.
