To the editor:

I see signs from the Democratic Party that read, “We love people.”

For some, that’s true: Some love illegal aliens, gang members, murderers, rapists, drag queens and rioters. Some especially love men in girls’ locker rooms and sports, like Maine Gov. Janet Mills. There are some who show a strange way of loving Trump, conservatives and religious people by shooting them and putting bounties on ICE agents. Here’s proof: The Democratic candidate for attorney general in Virginia, Jay Jones, texted that he wants to put two bullets into the head of his opponent and his children. Many in his party say he should not leave the race.

Some appear to hate voter identification — it’s harder to cheat; free speech — it’s harder to lie; the Second Amendment — it’s harder to steal your liberty.

Some differentiate among 85 genders but can’t tell the difference between an illegal alien and a legal immigrant. I’ll prove there are only two genders: One goes to a gynecologist, one to a urologist. Many Democrats in Congress want $1.5 trillion for Obamacare and illegal alien health care because it’s so expensive. Isn’t Barack Obama’s bill called the Affordable Care Act?

All congressional Democrats voted against Republican tax cuts; now they have shut down the government and want to increase taxes by $1.5 trillion to open it up.

It never ceases to amaze me how many people on the left prove how unaware they are. One writer states, “You’re entitled to your opinion but not your own facts.” They forget Biden made up monthly employment statistics, inflation being transitory, 6-foot distance restrictions and vaccinations reducing the COVID spread. Hillary Clinton produced a made-up Russian dossier.

It’s easy to articulate how misinformed some people are. An example: Cody LaRue’s letter, “Act II of U. S. autocracy (Oct. 5),” is evidence of misunderstanding issues. It’s full of emotional rantings. He sources Time Magazine, PBS, ABC News and The Associated Press — this lays bare his credibility. The writer can’t distinguish dissenters from rioters. He states government critics are prosecuted; is he referring to when Obama and Biden and their corrupt officials tried to silence Trump and conservatives?

Good news: DEI is being dumped for church and common sense.

If Trump is king, there wouldn’t be demonstrations. That people are demonstrating proves Trump didn’t destroy our democracy (First Amendment.) No Kings protest organizers boast, “When was the last time 7 million people showed up for anything?” The answer is four years ago, when Biden opened the borders.

I am willing to predict that the anticipated election of a communist, Zohran Mamdani, as mayor of New York City will be a gift to Republicans in 2026.

The board of the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has refused to remove books promoting transgenderism and homosexuality aimed at children as young as 4. What is the social benefit of these books? Voting no will suspend 33 percent of library funding, which can be restored after reforms. Vote no on the library levy.
