Weir falls on the road
UNIONTOWN, Pa. — Undefeated Albert Gallatin proved to be too much for the Red Riders on Friday night.
The Colonials wrapped up a 10-0 regular season and head to the Pennsylvania playoffs with a 34-6 victory over Weir High.
The Red Riders fall to 0-8. They have two more games to get in the win column. The first of which is a return home to host rival Brooke on senior night next Friday.
Toronto wins big to secure home playoff game
BROWNSVILLE, Pa. — The Red Knights pulled away from Brownsville on the road for a 54-22 victory and, in the process, secured a home playoff game.
With the win, Toronto finishes its regular season 9-1 and will host a in the first round of the Division VI, Region 23 playoffs next Friday.
Elkins pulls away from Brooke
ELKINS — Brooke’s long trip to Elkins on Friday night finished with a tough 31-7 loss to the Tigers.
Brooke, now 3-6, will look to bounce back next Friday when they visit rival Weir High (0-8) to close the season.
Harrison claims VALES Trophy
YORKVILLE — The 15th VALES Trophy belongs to the Huskies.
Harrison Central pulled away from Buckeye Local on the road on Friday night to close its season strong with a 41-14 victory over the Panthers.
The Huskies, who have now won 13 of the 15 meetings between the teams, finsih their season 4-6. The Panthers close out at 2-8.
