Orlando “Chico” Jesus DeStefano, 89, of Zionsville, Indiana, passed away on December 28, 2023. He was born on January 10, 1934, in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, to parents, Bartolome DeStefano and Mary Mercedes (Rossi) DeStefano. Chico came to the United States as a young man, attended Follansbee High School, served in the United States Army and he embraced this country and everything about it as his own. Ruth Ann Dunfee, 94, passed away very peacefully on January 6, 2024 at the Villa Vista Nursing Home in Steubenville. Born October 25, 1929, in Wheeling, WV, to the late Bernard T. and Agnes M. (Myles) Henne, Ruth grew up in Wheeling, attending St. Michael’s Church and Grade School. After graduating from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1947, she went to work for the Bell Telephone Co. In August 1952 she married Ronald R. Dunfee, and together they raised six children.
