Nick Butto, 75, of Weirton, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2026, at WVU Weirton Medical Center. Born on December 15, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Patsy and Eva Alvaro Butto. In addition to his parents, Nick was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Nikki Jean Gurrera Butto, in 2016, and his brother, Anthony Butto. A proud United States Navy veteran, Nick served his country while stationed in Cuba. Following his military service, he returned home to build a life centered around family, faith, and community. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey Lola (Dodson) Utz, and his son, John Edward Utz, a daughter, Susan (Strader) Pardee, and a brother, Edward N. Utz. Norma Jean Tunanidas, 77, of Weirton, WV, passed Thursday, May 21, 2026 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 17, 1948 in Steubenville, OH, daughter of the late William and Ellen Baer Speicher. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, John James Tunanidas, Sr. (2022); and sister, Nora Proctor (2016). Norma worked as a travel agent for many years in Steubenville.
