Alice Wright Duckworth, 104, of Weirton, WV, passed away on October 1, 2025. She was born on August 30, 1921, in Shirley, WV, one of seven children of the late Riley M. and Birda Baker Wright. She was a proud honors graduate of the Tyler County High School Class of 1940. Alice married Clarence “Ducky” Duckworth, Together, they made their home in Weirton, WV, where Ducky worked for Weirton Steel and Alice built a long career as a sales associate with Sears, Alice loved exercise and remained dedicated to her fitness well into her late 80s, making daily visits to the Millsop ...

Ernestine (Leavelle) Peterson Mixon, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on September 23, 2025, at Trinity Hospital West. She was born on December 28, 1959, to the late Ernest Wendell and Virginia Peterson. Ernestine was a graduate of Wintersville High School. She retired from Trinity Hospital East. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward “Skip” Mixon; her sister, Lynnette Gilliam; her brother, Ernest W. Peterson Jr.; and her cousin, Linda Hines.
