Irene Edgell, 80, of New Cumberland, passed away on Thursday October 2, 2025. She was born on November 26, 1944, the daughter of the late Virgil and Elizabeth (Irwin) Pickering. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Edgell Jr and Thomas Birkhimer and a great-granddaughter Aurora Davis. She is survived by her husband, Charles Edgell Sr. at home; two sons, Terry (Crystal) Birkhimer of Calcutta and James Birkhimer of Mingo Junction; two daughters, Lisa and Holly Edgell both of New Cumberland.
