Steubenville Police Theft charged: Two people who allegedly loaded a “full cart of groceries” from Kroger they hadn’t paid for into a red pickup were taken into custody, Tuesday. Police reported finding “a large amount of groceries piled up in the back seat” of the truck after an employee pointed them to the vehicle and the two people getting in it. Thomas L. Jefferson County Sheriff Road rage: Roadworkers in Island Creek Township Road 381 said three men drove into the work zone with three men in it despite “road closed” signs that had been posted and began arguing with them, Friday.
