Steubenville Police Acting out: A city resident is facing multiple charges after she allegedly tried to outrun police in the 200 block of North Seventh Street, Thursday. Police said Samantha Cremeans, 832 South St., was charged with possession of drugs, tampering with evidence and escape, all felonies, after a foot chase, during which they reported seeing her allegedly toss items over a fence running parallel to Washington Street. Steubenville Police Badly injured: A man ended up being flown to a Pittsburgh-area hospital after he was allegedly hit in the head with a brick in a parking lot in the 100 block of North Fourth Street, Monday. When they arrived, police said a bystander was “providing aid” to the man, who was breathing but not alert. Steubenville Police Short fuse: A woman in the 3900 block of Stratford Boulevard said she got herself a glass of water, which upset her husband who began yelling at her and “poured the water over her and the dining room chair,” Friday. She said he also shoved her to the ground so she pressed the medical alarm on her cell at which point he left the residence.
