Police Beat STEUBENVILLE POLICE Grounded: A man riding his bicycle told police he saw a man “punch a female in the face” in the 400 block of Madison Avenue Monday. He said he confronted the male and they argued, then after he began riding away he said the male “came up from behind and pushed him off his bike. He said after he fell, the man “punched him several times in the head,” then he and the woman he punched got in a car and drove away. STEUBENVILLE POLICE No compassion: A woman living in apartments attached to a business on Lawson Avenue at Adams Street spotted a man sitting on the steps in front of the business and began “yelling at him for being there.” He said he tried to explain he was walking home from work but “has trouble with his knees due to age,” so he has to take breaks, but she refused to listen.
