To the editor: This year, Ohio has experienced a drought that has caused farmers in 38 counties so far to look for assistance in keeping their farms running On Sept. 26, the states of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia were hit by Hurricane Helene. Police levy will help Wintersville

To the editor: My name is Tom Simone and I am a Wintersville village resident. I am also a fiscal conservative and a proponent of limited government and low taxes. Regarding the Wintersville police levy, I am not normally in favor of higher taxes, but I am in favor of smart community investments.
