Thankful Trump is president

To the editor: President Donald Trump has been in office for a little over 200 days. Biden was in office for 1,461 days. Russia invaded Ukraine, and Biden sent billions of dollars to Ukraine with no accounting. Biden didn’t support Israel when Hamas invaded, killing thousands and taking hostages, including Americans. Actions of an authoritarian

To the editor: It now appears quite undeniable that President Trump’s global trade war is beginning to have an alarming negative impact on U.S. businesses, as well as citizens, as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recently revealed that only 73,000 jobs were added in the month of July in the United States, and that the second quarter has been recorded as the worst for job growth in our nation, with the exception of the pandemic period, since 2010. Here are some facts: Massachusetts was gerrymandered to prevent any Republican representatives from holding any of its 11 seats in Congress, although Trump ...

The provisions of Social Security have been changing since the 1930s, shifting in response to economic worries as well as coverage for the poor, dependent children, spouses, survivors and the disabled. To the editor: As we enter August and begin to wind down yet another summer, we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the people of our city, county and the entire Tri-State Area for the incredible support and record turnout at this year’s 39th-annual Holy Trinity Greek Festival. We are deeply proud of our sponsors, parishioners and volunteers, whose tireless work and dedication brought to life the homemade dishes and pastries that have become a cherished tradition enjoyed by thousands each year.
