Locals qualify for OHSAA track and field championships

COLUMBUS - After the regional meets held Thursday-Saturday, several local athletes have qualified for this week's OHSAA Jesse Owens Track and Field Championships. The state meet will be held Thursday-Sunday at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of the Ohio State University. MORGANTOWN — Amidst all the college football and basketball news and all the postseason changes, there was some big men's soccer news this spring. The Division I Men's Soccer Oversight Committee adopted legislation changing the men's soccer season into two semesters, which would start on Aug. 1, 2027.
