LOS ANGELES (AP) — Peter Laviolette will be the next head coach of the Los Angeles Kings, a person with knowledge of the negotiations told The Associated Press on Monday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the Kings hadn't yet announced the results of their lengthy search for a permanent replacement for interim coach D.J. MORGANTOWN — West Virginia football earned another commitment to start the week. Three-star wide receiver and athlete Carter Davis announced on social media that he's committed to the Mountaineers for the class of 2027. Davis is another recruit WVU and Rich Rodriguez stole from other Power Four schools. The Gulf Shores, Alabama, native picked the Mountaineers over Mississippi State, who was in hot pursuit, LSU, Tennessee, Auburn and multiple other top programs.
