To the editor:

President Donald Trump has been in office for a little over 200 days. Biden was in office for 1,461 days. Let’s compare their administrations.

• Foreign affairs: Biden botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, resulting in the deaths of 13 service members and billions of dollars of equipment being left for the Taliban. Russia invaded Ukraine, and Biden sent billions of dollars to Ukraine with no accounting. Biden didn’t support Israel when Hamas invaded, killing thousands and taking hostages, including Americans. Trump convinced NATO members to increase defense spending to 5 percent of their GDP and has facilitated several peace treaties. He ordered the bombing of Iran’s nuclear sites, decreasing the chances that Iran will get a nuclear bomb. Trump supports Israel and is attempting to negotiate peace between Ukraine and Russia.

• Immigration: Biden opened the border, allowing millions of poorly-vetted people to settle in our country. Biden’s administration lost track of thousands of unaccompanied minors. Biden allowed CDLs to be issued to illegals who could not read or speak English, resulting in severe accidents which have resulted in American citizens’ deaths. Trump closed the border and ICE is deporting criminals and people who ignored deportation orders. Trump’s administration has found many of Biden’s missing children and has removed thousands of illegals from our Social Security roles.

• Transportation: Biden’s transportation secretary, Pete Buttigieg, took paternity leave during the supply chain crisis, and ignored major problems with the airlines, including planes with defects and DEI-hire air traffic controllers who were not qualified. Trump’s transportation secretary, Sean Duffy, has identified the problems with air traffic control and is working to update the antiquated equipment and hire more qualified air traffic controllers.

• Gender Issues: Biden allowed biological males claiming to be trans to play in female sports, causing injuries to many females, and allowed naked males in female locker rooms, exposing their genitals to young females. Biden pushed a trans agenda including the indoctrination of children in schools and other settings without the parents’ knowledge, leading to surgical mutilation of children and administration of harmful medications. Biden celebrated Trans Awareness Day on Easter Sunday, ignoring the holiest day for Christians. Trump signed executive orders to ban biological males in female sports, but some Democrat-led states are defying his order. Trump signed an executive order banning the indoctrination of children and the surgical mutilation and administration of dangerous drugs to children.

• Law and Order: Biden’s administration supported the defunding of police and prosecutors in Democrat states instituted cashless bail and reclassification of felonies to lesser crimes. Riots, which included burning of buildings and vehicles and attacks on police, were called peaceful protests. Trump used the National Guard to assist police in Washington, D.C., resulting in decreased crime. Tulsie Gabbard has uncovered corruption by Democrats at the national level and forwarded the evidence to the DOJ.

Biden and his administration brought our country to the brink of disaster. Trump is working quickly to save our country. Thank God Trump is our president.
