Elvira (Arlia) Pellegrino, 92, formerly of Yorkville, OH, died, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at The Wyngate Senior Living Center in Weirton, WV. Elvira was born on February 23, 1932, in Belmonte Calabro, Italy, to the late Gabriel and Antonia (Porco) Arlia. At age 15, she left her homeland of Italy to travel across rough waters with her Mother and brother to be reunited with her father who was working in Weirton, WV., to provide a new life for his family. James Ernest Cottrell, 80, of Weirton passed away August 12, 2024. He was born on February 3, 1944 in Calhoon County WV, the son of the late Harvey and Loretta (Lynch) Cottrell. He retired from the City of Weirton, last working in the Water Dept. Private Services will be held. Nixon Funeral Home was in charge of services.

Bill was born Nov. 23, 1933, in New Somerset, OH, son of the late Edward Grover and Mary Ella (Richards) Landis. He was retired from DeNoon Lumber where he worked as a mechanic and operator. Minister Thomas Arehart, 77, of New Manchester, went home to the Lord on August 22, 2024, after a long battle with Parkinson’s, with his loving family at his side. He was born on September 21, 1946 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of the late George and Alice (Dawson) Arehart. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Bailey and two brothers, George Shamp and William Arehart.
