BARRY DILLIE JR.

Barry Lee Dillie Jr., 60 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at his residence under the care of his family with the assistance of Valley Hospice.

Barry was born on April 26, 1965 in Washington, PA. He was the son of Rose (Hood) Dillie and Barry Lee Dillie Sr.

Barry spent much of his life on the road, working as a dedicated truck driver. For many years, he drove with Hone and Son Trucking, even owning and operating his own truck–a testament to his strong work ethic and independent spirit. Many will remember Barry for the simple joys he cherished most–a cold beer in hand, surrounded by family and friends at a good cookout, especially when fried wings were on the menu. He loved the freedom of riding his side-by-side, embracing the outdoors and the moments that brought him happiness.

Above all, Barry treasured time spent with his family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, bringing him immense pride and joy. It was in those moments–laughing, gathering, and simply being together–that Barry was truly at his happiest.
