ROBERT “CROW” KAMINSKI
Robert “Crow” J. Kaminski, 88, of Wintersville died Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 28, 1937 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late John and Martha Sinkovich Kaminski. Crow is also preceded in death by his brothers, Jack and Richard Kaminski.
Crow retired from Koppers Industries where he was an oiler. He also worked as a meat cutter at various A&P supermarkets for many years.
Crow was an avid outdoorsman enjoying his time in the woods hunting most especially grouse with his beloved “Crows Fancy Girl”. Not in the woods, he was on a boat fishing with friends and family. He was a lifelong member of the Jefferson County Sportsman Association and a member of the Polish Athletic Club where he cherished his Euchre Fridays. An avid athlete playing football, baseball, softball, bowling, and golfing. Spent many days as a member of the Spring Hills Golf Club and was proud of the two holes in one that he achieved. Enjoyed ever so much watching his grandchildren participate in school events, band, and sports.
He was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School class of 1955. Crow was a life long supporter of the Crusaders and long time fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and its Men’s Club for numerous years. Crow also proudly served his country in the U. S. Naval Reserves.
The Old Crow knew how to live.
Surviving are his wife Theresa “Terry” Coyne Kaminski, whom he married August 29, 1964; son Robert of Wintersville; daughter Mary (Tony) Godich of Bloomingdale; grandchildren Tony Godich, Grace (Orion) Bengier and Anna Godich.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 3-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be held Friday at 10 am at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
