ALBERT THOMASELLI
Albert V. Thomaselli, 96 of Long Beach, CA formerly of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on April 30, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 17, 1929, in Follansbee, WV, a son of the late Paul and Enrietta (Bonitatibus) Thomaselli. In addition to his parents Albert is preceded in death by four brothers, John, Paul, Anthony, and Arthur Thomaselli; and four sisters, Connie Conchel, Ann Gump, Jeana Durazio, and Rose Petrella.
He graduated from Follansbee High School Class of 1947. Albert earned his bachelor’s degree in engineering from WVU having been awarded Magna Cum Laude honors. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines during the Korean War. Albert was Catholic by faith and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He worked for Chevron for 40 years where he was an engineer.
Albert is survived by one sister, Norma Henson of Follansbee, WV; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Catholic Funeral Mass is being planned for the near future at St. Anthony Catholic Church 1017 Jefferson St. Follansbee, WV 26037.
Inurnment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
