Voter turnout in Tuesday's general election was 30 percent, according to unofficial results from the Jefferson County Board of Elections. The totals showed 12,838 of the county's 42,675 registered voters cast ballots in the election. Sargus Hall, which sits behind Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wintersville, was one of the many polling sites across the county. — Warren Scott
