JOSEPH BOWMAN

Joseph Kaye Bowman Sr. 70, of Wellsburg, WV passed away December 24, 2023, at home. He was born July 31, 1953, in Follansbee, WV to the late Joseph Lloyd and Dora Douglas Bowman. Joe retired with 40 years of service at Mountain State Carbon as a Hot Car Operator and was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Kathy Bowman who passed in 1994, a brother Samuel Bowman and Barbara Bowman. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Gloria Jean Brooks Bowman, his son Joseph K. Bowman Jr. (Heather) of Follansbee, WV, three granddaughters Hope, Rilyn, Madie, two grandsons Kyle and Mason also survive. Visitation will take place on December 29, 2023, from 11a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV.
