GLORIA ROUCH

Gloria J. Rouch, 78, of Rayland, OH (Weems), passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, in the Weirton Medical Center in WV.

Gloria was born Dec. 12, 1944, in Meyersdale, PA, daughter of the late James and Elsie (Fresh) Brown. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Jimmy Brown.

She was a retired LPN who worked for Dr. Saieed in his offices in Weirton and Follansbee.

Gloria was a member of Meadowbrook Church of God in Rayland, where she played the piano for the last 35 years. She was a 17-year member of the Gospel Heir Quartet and, along with her family, provided local nursing homes with the ministry for 25 years. Gloria and her husband, Bob, traveled to Lakeland, FL annually (19 years) to attend the Florida Holiness Campground where she was a member of the bell choir.

Gloria leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Robert W. ‘Pastor Bob’ Rouch whom she married July 30, 1964; daughter Coleena (Johnny) Groch of Toronto, OH, son Alan W. Rouch of Sebring, FL, and daughter Rochella (Terry) McAllister of Ocala, FL; two brothers, Jerry (Cyndi) Brown of Bridgeville, PA, and Ronnie (Donna) Brown of Shanksville, PA; five grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 7 from 4 to 7 pm at the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. Additional visitation to take place Friday from 10 to 11 am at the Meadowbrook Church of God followed by Gloria’s service at 11. Reverends Marvin Schooler and David Hennen will officiate, and burial will follow in the Highland Hills Memorial Park in Follansbee, WV.
