PATRICIA REESE

Pat was born in Steubenville, Ohio on July 14, 1937. She was the daughter of Melvin H. Beatty and Bernadine Louise (Elder) Beatty.

She was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Rita Lemley and her brother, David E. Beatty, Sr.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Edward L. Reese, daughter, Diane (Bill) Wells of New Cumberland, West Virginia, Mark (Denise) Reese of Missouri, Brother James (Joyce) Beatty of Chester, West Virginia and sister. Christine (William) Spencer of New Cumberland, West Virginia. Grandchildren, Ryan (Alicia) Wells, Trisha (Jason) Enochs of New Cumberland, West Virginia, Kaylan (Matt) Goldstein, Kyle Reese of Missouri and 5 great grandchildren.

Pat was a graduate of New Cumberland High School Class of 1956. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She served as a Sunday School teacher and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was a volunteer at the New Cumberland Food Closet for many years. She loved the Pittsburgh Pirates and Oak Glen sporting events. She was a Gram/GiGi to many.

Pat loved her church and her family. She had a love for helping everyone in any way she could. Family and friends, and others whose lives were touched by Pat are invited to The Turley Funeral Home, 109 N. Chester Street, New Cumberland, West Virginia for visitation on Friday, November 24th 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Service of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 25th at 11:00am. Rev Robert K. Staub will preside. Interment will follow at the New Cumberland Cemetery.
