MARGARET ARTMAN
Margaret L. Artman, 79, of Wintersville, died Wednesday November 22, 2023, at home. She was born October, 25, 1944, in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Abe and Edna Thomas Wheaton, Margaret is also preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Glover, two brothers, Homer and James Wheaton, a sister, Judy Nichols, a step son, Kenny Artman, step daughter, Claudia Kennedy, and a step grand daughter, Letit Artman.
Margaret was retired from Orrechio Properties where she was an accountant and also from the former Bond Mayflower Moving Co.
Surviving are her husband, Clair “Bud” Artman, three sons, Arnie (Deb) Glover of Toronto, Chris Glover and Dale (Cassidie) Glover both of FL, one daughter, Penny (Ken) Peterson of Steubenville. One brother, Buck (Mary) Wheaton, sisters, Barbara Majewski, Debra (Wilbur) Carouthers, and Sandra Hardy. Grandchildren, Kodi (Amanda) Peterson, Kasey Peterson, and Calista and Tiffany Glover. One great grandchild, Kane Peterson.
Margaret was a lifetime member of the Wintersville Post 557 women’s auxiliary, where she was the treasurer/secretary for many years.
