WEIRTON — The penultimate Second Saturday event of the summer is scheduled for this weekend at the Weirton Event Center. Organized by the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau, the event will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday and feature performances by New Age Adenas and Aristotle Jones, The Appalachian Soul Man. Based in Wheeling, New Age Adenas features Mary Blake, Eric Wellman and Greg Pawlack. He said he confronted the male and they argued, then after he began riding away he said the male “came up from behind and pushed him off his bike. He said after he fell, the man “punched him several times in the head,” then he and the woman he punched got in a car and drove away.
