Dillonvale man dead following Sunday evening crash in Smithfield Township

STEUBENVILLE — A Dillonvale man was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash on County Road 10 in Smithfield Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at about 8:22 p.m. Aug. 16, approximately two-tenths of a mile west of Ohio 152. Corey Shetler, 29, of Dillonvale, a passenger in the one of the vehicles, died from injuries sustained in the crash. The Fidelis Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary Organization for Women Educators met at Eat ’n Park Restaurant in Weirton on Aug. 6, with co-presidents Ruth Fuller and Carolyn Allison officiating.
