The Visitor Center at Historic Fort Steuben was among the 12 organizations that received money during Monday’s final meeting of the Woman’s Club of Steubenville at the Main Branch of the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County. Accepting a check for $20,000 from Marge Bedortha was Jerry Barilla, board president of the fort. The money will go toward adding public restrooms at the complex. With the dissolving of the club, officials distributed its remaining assets — $155,000 — to area nonprofits and organizations. — Contributed
