WEIRTON — After a successful debut in 2025, Weirton Restaurant Week returns for its second year, March 1-7.

Hosted by the Top of West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce, the weeklong promotion invites residents and visitors to dine local, explore new flavors and support the restaurants that help define Weirton and the surrounding communities.

Last year’s inaugural event drew participation from more than 20 local establishments.

“The response we saw in the first year exceeded our expectations,” said Rachel Keeney, executive director of the CVB. “It showed just how much our community values our locally owned restaurants, and it confirmed that Weirton Restaurant Week has the potential to become a meaningful annual tradition.”

Participating restaurants will offer special menus, limited-time dishes and exclusive deals throughout the week, giving diners even more reason to try something new or revisit a favorite spot. While the event celebrates great food, its larger purpose is to support local businesses during a traditionally slower time of the year for the restaurant industry.

“This promotion is about more than just dining out,” said Brenda Mull, president of the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce. “It’s about showing our small businesses that the community appreciates and supports them. We strongly support ‘Shopping Around Your Hometown,’ and this is just another way to show it.”

As an added incentive, diners who patronize participating restaurants during Weirton Restaurant Week can turn in their receipts for a chance to win restaurant gift cards. Receipts must be dated between March 1-7, and turned in to either the Top of WV CVB or the Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce by March 8. Each receipt should include the patron’s name and phone number written on the back. Winners will be drawn on March 9.

Restaurants interested in participating are encouraged to sign up through the online form at www.topofwv.com/weirton-restaurant-week-sign-up/. The deadline to register is Feb. 16.
