STEUBENVILLE — Aim Women’s Center has received a grant of $16,733 from the J.C. Williams Charitable Trust to support the expansion of case management services at the Mother of Mercy Home, the center’s maternity housing program.
This funding will allow Aim to provide more comprehensive support for mothers navigating pregnancy, housing instability and the transition into motherhood. Expanded case management services will help residents set and achieve personal goals, access vital community resources and receive ongoing encouragement as they work toward long-term stability and independence.
“We are deeply grateful to the J.C. Williams Charitable Trust for its investment in the women and children we serve,” said Rebekah Cohen Morris, Aim’s executive director. “This grant will allow us to strengthen our case management program at the Mother of Mercy Home, ensuring that every resident has the guidance and support she needs to build stability and thrive as a mother.”
The Mother of Mercy Home provides safe housing and wraparound services for expectant mothers facing homelessness or other challenging circumstances. By combining housing with individualized care, the home creates a nurturing environment where women can prepare not only for childbirth but also for the responsibilities and opportunities of family life, she explained. There are currently two spaces for expectant mothers in need of supportive housing services. For details or to apply to the program, visit ohiomomhome.org.
