Jefferson County Sheriff Lightning strikes: A woman who a week ago reported two strangers entered her home while she was taking a bath said it happened a second time, Monday. She said she was in the tub again when she heard voices and initially thought it was her children, but when she got out of the tub she saw the men in her house and reports one of them asked her, “How you been” followed by a descriptive term. Steubenville Police Two women, two stories: A resident in the 3900 block of Stratford Boulevard was reportedly assaulted during an altercation with another woman, Saturday. The homeowner said she’d asked the other woman to drop food off to her and she ended up staying there, and when she finally asked her to leave the woman refused, then stood over her. Steubenville police Losing proposition: A man involved in a disturbance in the 4000 block of Stratford Boulevard told police his girlfriend “was over-controlling of him and he felt stuck,” Thursday. He said that day they’d argued over him using her car but he denied any physical violence.
