WEIRTON — President Frank Bohach called the September meeting of the Three Score Senior Club to order, asking Winnie Kemp for prayer.

Kemp gave a reading and prayer, then led the group in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and the singing of “God Bless America.”

Following a sit-down dinner, Bob Kelley, an honored athletic of Weirton, spoke about his life and career during in the 1950s.

Kelley shared numerous gifts he has received throughout his career and showed an interest in joining the senior club.

Sunshine Chair Kemp announced the anniversary of Carl and Lynn Bish and the birthdays of Jane Watson, Lynn Bish, Carl Bish and Rita Witchum.

Bohach will take nominations from the floor for club officers at the October meeting.

Kathy McCarrick arranged for Chuck Lucas to serve as the entertainment in October.

Mary Bohach provided members with the October menu.

Prizes were won by the following members: Patty Baker, Lynn Bish, Barbara Purks, Rob Klepadlo, Kemp, Mary Louise Danek and Cil Findley.

The next regular meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 23. Anyone interested in joining can call any member.

Bohach thanked Kelley for an enjoyable evening and Kemp gave the departing prayer.
