STEUBENVILLE — The second-annual Trunk or Treat event will be coming to Seven Ranges Entertainment at the Fort Steuben Mall Oct. 27.

The holiday celebration was very well attended last year, according to officials, who commented thousands of Ohio Valley residents responded.

Organizers are estimating as many guests as last year, if not more.

The Trunk-or-Treat will take place on in the Seven Ranges parking lot.

Children and adults can prepare for a “spooky-sweet night of candy, fun and prizes.”

Participants, as well as the attendees are encouraged to dress up for the occasion.

“Dress up, show off your trunk and join the Halloween magic with little ghouls and goblins,” officials stated.

The schedule for the afternoon will include businesses setting up their trunks between 3:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

Showcase your creativity and compete for the title of Best Business Trunk. Nominations will be taken later in the evening for best trunk, so go all out, officials noted.

The Trunk-or-Treat event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Attendees will nominate who has the best costume and who has the best trunk between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

The final judging will be held inside Seven Ranges from 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Free candy will be distributed and Halloween music will be played throughout the evening.
