Seven Ranges to hold trunk-or-treat
STEUBENVILLE — Seven Ranges Entertainment is once again planning an evening of “spooktacular” fun this week, as officials have announced the business’s second-annual trunk-or-treat event.
This Halloween activity has been scheduled to take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
The community is invited to participate, with officials encouraging everyone to bring along their friends and family members for a night filled with treats, contests and entertainment for all.
Located at the Fort Steuben Mall, Seven Ranges has invited local businesses to participate and showcase their creativity by competing for the title of Best Business Trunk.
Participating businesses will bring along their decorated trunks and attempt to impress not only the judges, but all of the little ghouls and grown-up goblins who are in attendance.
Children will have the opportunity to show off their Halloween outfits and take part in a “thrilling Halloween costume contest.”
Prizes will be to be awarded to those who have the best costume in various categories, organizers announced.
Judges will be on site to walk through the line between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Each judge will review the costumes and decorated trunks and then select the nominees.
Children and businesses which are nominated will receive a ticket from the judges, which will serve as the entry into the contest’s final round.
All nominees must be inside the building by 7:30 p.m. to take part in the final round of judging, officials noted.
Prizes to be awarded include Seven Ranges gift cards in the amounts of $100 for first, $50 for second and $25 for third. All of the nominees will receive a one-hour play card to the establishment.
Event highlights include a contest for the best decorated business trunk, a variety of treats and perhaps a few tricks.
