A standout performance

Brooke High School brought home multiple medals and awards after competing against 15 other bands in the West Virginia Oil and Gas Festival, held Sept. 13 in Tyler County. The band earned gold medals for its field commander, Ryan Haught, its field show and auxiliaries. The band earned a bronze medal for its percussion section and outstanding solo honors for the trumpet/baritone sax duet performed by Ty Lallone and Ambrosia Smith. The band was named first runner up.
