Giving back to the community
The Carriage Inn of Steubenville, the Laurels of Steubenville and Sienna Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center teamed up to help support Urban Mission’s Back- to-School event held Thursday. Between the three facilities, they donated more than $250 in needed school supplies as well as a $500 monetary donation to help assist in purchasing additional items. Urban Mission packed and donated approximately 1,400 book bags to local children in need. With Tiffany Beckwith, second from left, Urban Mission’s community engagement director, are, from left, Nancy Felton, community director of marketing for Carriage Inn of Steubenville; Janna Rusinovich-Sims, director of marketing for the Laurels of Steubenville; and Michelle Howard, admissions and marketing director for Sienna Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, all whom said they agree, “The best part of our facilities is how involved we are with the local community. We love to give back and make an impact where ever we can.”
