Spring Hills Ladies Golf League
The Spring Hills Ladies Golf League played “Throw Out Two Holes,” during evening play held July 3. Winners included: Ruth Reese, A flight; Vickie Grant, B Flight; and Carmela Wallace, C Flight.
The winners of longest drive were Cynde Vidas, A Flight; Brenda McCloskey, B Flight; and Patty Gerrlando, C Flight.
The winners of Closest to the Pin were Neysa McCart, A Flight; Linda Caputo, B Flight; and Tammy Cox, C Flight. McCart had a birdie on hole No. 6. JoAnn Cicone joined the league as a guest.
Cadiz Women’s Golf League
The Cadiz Women’s Golf League met July 2. Hosts were Joanne Hardman and Pat Roper.
The Play of the Day was “Low Gross,” on the back nine. Winners included: Tracy Amos, A Flight; Brenda Hartley, B Flight; and Denise Augustine, C Flight.
Putt winners included: Kathy Newburn, Sherry Sapon, Hartley and Kim Ochsenbine.
Hartley had a birdie. Paula Hope and Ochsenbine had chip-ins.
The league then met on Wednesday, where the Play of the Day was “Blind Partners.”
Those earning first place was the team of Hartley and Kathy Smith.
The second-place team was Marilyn Kenny and Donna Griffin.
Winners of low putt were Newburn, Hartley and Janet Backel.
Laura Froehlich had a chip-in on hole No. 10. Hostesses were Yuko Atwell and Augustine.
Town and Country Ladies Golf
The Town and Country Ladies Golf League held a scramble July 3 at the Spring Hills Golf Course.
The winning team was comprised of players Dorothy Baier, Toni Dondzila and Megan Lewis.
The second-place finishers was the team consisting of Kathy Antinone, Shirley Guida and Nancy Lellie.
Two teams tied for third-place, including the team of Linda Staffilino, Rose Kaczmarek and Norma Henson; and the team of Debbie Hendricks, Dora Elizaga and Marge Serafini.
Winners of the longest drive on hole No. 3 were: Lewis, A Flight; Henson, B Flight; and Guida, C Flight.
Winners of the longest drive on hole No. 6 were: Baier, A Flight; Henson, B Flight; and Dondzila, C Flight.
