SMITHFIELD — John and Connie Emery of Smithfield announce the engagement of their son, Justin Emery, to Jessica Tingler, the daughter of Rebecca Ellis of Augusta, Maine, and the late David Tingler.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Cony High School in Augusta, Maine, and studied mental health at the University of Maine at Augusta. She is employed at Wingate by Wyndham in Steubenville.

Her fiance is a graduate of Buckeye Local High School and the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School and is employed by the village of Wintersville.

The couple reside in Wintersville and an August 2024 wedding is planned.
