Brilliant Fire Department adds new ladder truck to fleet

Photo provided by Willie Brown The Brilliant Fire Department recently took delivery of a new 2026 Pierce Ascendant truck. The apparatus features a 2,000-gallon-per-minute pump, a 500-gallon water tank and a 107-foot extendable ladder. It was purchased from Atlantic Emergency Solutions, Inc.

Miami University Confers Spring Degrees MIAMI UNIVERSITY — Miami University conferred more than 4,500 degrees during its spring commencement ceremony held May 16 at Yager Stadium in Oxford.
