Questions about progressives

To the editor:

I received a cease-and-desist letter from the Illuminati Society of the World for referring to progressives and communists as illuminati. I’ll now refer to elite progressives as morally superior amigos. I hope I don’t receive a cease-and-desist letter from God.

U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was recognized for her compassion for hugging illegal alien gang drug smugglers and given the Golden Hypodermic by MS13.

County amigos claim they number 200, which is somewhat short of the 7,000 voters who changed their vote to Republican in the last election. Progressive communists are all waiting for orders.

To paraphrase Kenneth Sollitt, there are certain truths that are true no matter how much progressives deny them. In the economic realm, you cannot legislate the poor into independence by legislating the wealthy out of it. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. Government cannot give to people what it does not first take away from people. What one man receives without working for, another must work without receiving.

I’m sure this concept is above the intellectual capacity of progressives. They believe illegal aliens benefit our economy. Progressives rant they contribute more than they receive. What garbage. Reports show 52 percent are on welfare, receive free schooling, medical and housing subsidies. The money they do make is sent back home. As long as one American veteran sleeps on the street, there should be not one penny for illegal aliens.

What makes many happy is to see amigos fuming over Supreme Court rulings that government union members don’t have to pay union dues and that Trump’s travel ban is legal. This will scare a bulldog off a meat wagon — what will happen when Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg goes? What would murderers of babies do when the court is 6-3 conservative? They’ll be weird, desperate and pathetic — better confiscate their guns. They say they’re not pro-abortion, but pro-choice. When asked to explain the difference, they won’t or can’t. What self-justification for murder.

Christina Reaume’s letter “Don’t leave rural children behind, (June 10)” states she “supports our public schools” and sends her children to them. She’s honest, not like progressives who claim they don’t send their kids to public schools because of traditions. Fake progressives use this lame excuse knowing parochial education and vouchers are best for kids.

The progressive platform for November: Open borders; eliminate I.C.E; repeal tax cuts; raise taxes; free college; free health care; repeal the Second Amendment; hug gang members; declare themselves Democratic Socialists; reverse record low employment for blacks, Hispanics and women; have piles of feces, needles, debris pile up in our streets like progressive California; reverse the following: 94 percent manufacturer optimism, highest home building permits since 2007, GPA estimate of 5.4 percent for the year, wages up 2.9 percent since 2009, home sales highest in 11 years, second quarter GPA up 3.1 percent, mining up 28.6 percent and unemployment down to 4.1 percent. I can go on but why depress progressives more than they are? Want to feel good? Vote Republican.
