Dana Ann Davis passed away June 22, 2017, at her home in Melbourne Beach, FL, following an extended illness. She was 69 years old.
She is survived by her brother and sister-law, Michael and Lynne Davis of Sebastian, FL and four nieces and nephews, Jody and niece, Stephanie Cowher Blackwelder and great-niece, Meghan Grace Blackwelder of Mocksville, NC, Scott Cowher of Steubenville, OH, Zachary and Stephanie Davis of Denver, CO and Dr. Elizabeth Davis of West Palm Beach, FL.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dushan (Duke) and Mary Agnes Mulrooney Davis.
Dana, attended Steubenville Catholic Central High School, graduated from Kent State University with both her bachelors and masters degrees in Health Education and did her doctoral studies at Purdue University. She was an educator and health association administrator holding various executive leadership roles at the American Dental Association, the American School Health Association, Radiological Society of North America and the Oklahoma Dental Association.
Funeral services and visitation will be held at Holy Family Church, Alexander Avenue in Steubenville on Saturday, July 1, 2017, with visitation at 9 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Msgr. Gerald Calovini, celebrant.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Steubenville Catholic Central High School.
