MORGANTOWN — West Virginia football scored a highly-recruited defensive lineman for the class of 2027. Zai'Vion Meads announced on social media that he had committed to the Mountaineers Sunday night. The Louisville, Kentucky, native had offers from Nebraska, Purdue, Baylor and Missouri. Meads is a big 6-foot-3 defensive lineman who had a productive junior season at Atherton High School.
