Locals recognized on OHSBCA All-Ohio lists
The Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association announced the All-Ohio teams this week and several local players were among those recognized as being among the top players around the state of Ohio.
In Division III, Indian Creek’s Sylus Hyde and Hunter Rusnak were honorable mention picks after helping Indian Creek to a third-straight 20-win season.
In Division IV, Edison’s Kyle Long was a second team selection after helping the Wildcats reach the regional final.
In Division V, Harrison Central’s Lance Smith was a second team selection after helping guide the Huskies to a regional final appearance.
In Division VI, Toronto standout Drake Bouscher was a first team All-Ohio selection, while Red Knights teammates Michael Henry (second team) and Caden McGrath (honorable mention) were also recognized.
The OHSBCA panel of coaches votes on the All-Ohio lists after each district has voted on the OHSBCA All-District teams.
