Red Knights top Huskies
TORONTO — The Toronto boys basketball team overcame a slow start to top visiting Harrison Central Tuesday night, 55-45.
The Red Knights (15-3) were held to single digit in the first two quarters but stormed back with 21 points in the third quarter and netted 39 in the second half.
Colt Joynson and Brody Winters each netted 17 to lead the Knights.
The Huskies got 19 from Bryson Kamarec and 11 from Brady Hyre.
Creek defeats Edison
RICHMOND — The Indian Creek boys basketball topped Edison on the road on Tuesday, 53-39.
Nishon White led the Redskins (4-13) with 18 points, while the Wildcats (5-10) were led by 15 points from Kyle Long.
The win for Creek avenged an opening day loss to Edison, making the rivalry season series a split.
Panthers falls at Martins Ferry
MARTINS FERRY — The Buckeye Local boys basketball dropped a 79-54 decision on the road at Martins Ferry Tuesday.
Kyle Kirkland netted 15 points for the Panthers (6-13), Matt Morris had 11 and Rylan Walker 10.
