The Steubenville High School football and track and field programs received a boost from DICK’S Sporting Goods. Big Red’s programs were nominated for and selected to each receive a $7,500 grant, totaling $15,000, from the DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation Sports Matter grant program. DICK’S Sporting Goods teammates were given the opportunity to nominate organizations and Jennifer Ekey nominated the Big Red programs. Athletes and coaches from both programs were on hand for the presentation inside the Crimson Commons earlier this week.
