Creek girls top Beaver Local
WINTERSVILLE — Four players scored in double digits leading the Indian Creek girls basketball team to a 61-20 victory against Beaver Local Thursday night on Coach D Court.
Kaydence Walker and Gabby Taylor each tallied 15 points to lead the way offensively for the Redskins (4-0), while Gracie Klinesmith collected 13 and Riley Sadler recorded 10.
Bella McLevey delivered a team-high six points for the Beavers (1-3).
The Redskins led 41-13 at halftime before taking a 54-19 lead into the fourth.
Indian Creek is scheduled to play Brooke Monday on the road inside the Brooke Wellness Center, while Beaver Local is slated to play out at Harrison Central.
Edison tops Heartland
COLUMBIANA — The Edison girls basketball team rolled to a 78-37 victory over Heartland Christian on the road Thursday night.
Leading the Wildcats were Sophia Henderson with a game-high 25 points and Abby Boka with 13. All told, 10 different players scored for Edison.
Harrison wins again
EAST LIVERPOOL — Despite not having a player reach double digits in scoring, the Harrison Central girls basketball team used a balanced attacks to defeat East Liverpool 41-34 for wins on back to back nights Thursday.
Kara Blackburn and Emily Cope each netted nine points to lead the way.

Linsly tops meet at Brooke
WELLSBURG — The Linsly Cadets topped Brooke, East Liverpool and Weir Thursday in boys, girls and combined team scoring in a quad match in the pool at the Brooke Wellness Center Thursday.
