Big Red girls roll to big win
CADIZ — The Big Red girls soccer team rolled to a big victory on the road at Harrison Central on Tuesday, 12-0.
Steubenville, which improved to 7-1-1 with the victory, got contributions from nine different players in the win.
Bailee Beall added to her program record total with four more goals and an assist, Lucy Saccoccia had four assists, Gianna Thomas had three goals and two assists, Jaylin Crites tallied two goals, Sagan Smarrella had two assists, Isabella Fletcher had a goal, Brynn Bowers tallied an assist, Ali Pierce had a pair of goals and Jodeci Green recorded an assist.
Green and Saide Edwards made two saves each splitting time in goal in the shutout.
Big Red is back in action Saturday hosting Brooke.
Weir girls blank St. C
ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The Weir High girls soccer team picked up a 2-0 victory over St. Clairsville on Tuesday.
The Red Riders, now 3-3-2, got goals from Kameryn Mallas and Kylie Dunmyer, while Elli Noel and Brynn Artman each had an assist. Bella Weber made six saves in net.

Big Red wins match play
STEUBENVILLE — The Big Red golf team topped Brooke in a nine-hole match play event in their home finale on Tuesday at Steubenville Country Club, 5-1, for their 17th-straight win.
Big Red’s victories came from Christopher Elliott, Andrew Matzorkis, Noah Kokiko, Patrick Jenkins and Gino Scaffidi.
Brooke’s victory came from Colton Henson.
Big Red closes the home portion of its schedule with a mark of 17-1.
