Students at Stanton and John Gregg Elementary Schools enjoyed a day at the ballpark watching the Washington Wild Things take on the Joliet Slammers on June 3. A total of 478 kids from both schools took part as a reward for having attendance of 90 percent or above throughout the year, while Stanton’s fourth- through sixth-grade choir members performed the National Anthem under the direction of music educator Dani Carroll.
