Weir has strong showing on Day 1 of state track

On the girls side, the shuttle hurdle team of Maleigha Stromile, Maleea Faulks, Myleigh Clevenger and Ella Kaufman placed on the podium in second. The 4×800 team of Olivia Shetler, Lea Young, Madelyn Cramer and Naomi Young placed seventh. Bella Spickard (200) and Myleigh Clevenger (100 high hurdles) qualified for Saturday’s finals.
On the boys’ side, the 4×800 team of Angelo Figlioli, Domenic Osaba, Ezell Grays and Johnathan Rhodes placed 12th. The shuttle hurdle relay team of Noah LeMasters, Ben Howard, Tajeh Black-Majewski, and Thomas Davidson placed 13th and Landon Haught qualified for the 200 finals
